2014 Summer Cruise/Trip Summary

We are now in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This is going to become our new home base since we sold our home in North Carolina in June.



Here are some stats from our trip West this summer doing the northern route...

Total number of miles traveled in the RV - 7,500 miles  (New Bern, NC to Washington coast and back to Indiana)

Total number of miles traveled in the car/dinghy - 5,000 miles

Number of days for the entire trip - 78 days

Shortest travel day distance - 2 miles

Longest travel day distance - 527 miles

Number of states we visited: 19 + 2 provinces in Canada (Alberta and British Columbia)

Number of National Parks/Monuments we visited - 11

Number of State Parks we visited - 5

Highest climbs with the RV -   1. Loveland Pass - Colorado  11,990 Ft.
                                                  2. Vail Pass - Colorado  10, 603 Ft.
                                                  3. Powder River Pass/ Wyoming  9,666 Ft.

Fuel expenses for the trip (RV)  - $3,160.00
                                          (Car) - $600.00

We are all ready planning our next big trip to the Southwest!!!!
